We are pleased to announce the renewal of the Visual Documentary Project (VDP) website in order to develop greater understanding and awareness of Southeast Asia.

Along with the enhanced archive functionality of the revamped homepage, we have created a simplified browser for each year’s themes. A new search function has also been introduced to allow users to browse by country, years, and keywords.

Selected works can be made available for screening free of charge for non-profit purposes in Japan only. For those who wish to hold a screening or borrow a work this can be done upon application.

We will continue to focus on enhancing the site by compiling archived information.
